The Difference Between LTVP And LTVP+.

Singapore Long Term Visit Pass i.e. LTVP allows the applicant to stay in Singapore for a period of two years while LTVP+ is an extension of LTVP that permits them to stay in Singapore for a period of up to three years and five years after the renewal. The eligibility criteria for getting an LTVP+ is that applicant must have a child having a Singapore citizen. Applicants should also fulfill other criteria such as being of good character and with no criminal record.

Making an application for an LTVP+ is not guaranteed that the application will be successful. The statutory authorities of Singapore will process each application on an individual basis.

In case an individual applicant already holds an LTVP and wants to extend their stay in Singapore, they need not apply for an LTVP+ because they are automatically considered for an LTVP+ if qualified.

The Singapore Long-Term Visit Pass is a visa that allows foreign spouses and children of Singapore citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents to stay in Singapore. Another MOM Singapore Long Term Visit Pass is a visa that enables an individual to bring a common-law spouse, unmarried children, handicapped under the age of 21, or unmarried step-children under 21 years old, as well as parents if the individual’s earning more than $12,000 a month on a fixed salary basis.

On the other hand, dependent passes are only issued for the married spouse and under-21-year-old unmarried children, and with strict conditions as compared to LTVPs. Dependent pass holders must have an S Pass or an Employment Pass.
